Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I am currently at my New York City ballet studios starting our rehearsal period for spring season and I have been noticing so many dancers do a planking and abdominal series on there breaks. I wanted to offer a little motivation to take a moment to do this wonderful series of exercises to keep your strength and mindful connection with your body during a moment of pause or stillness in your day. It is so helpful for us as athletes to make sure our bodies are strong and ready to take on the day and I find it is just as important to do this movement to take on whatever day you’re living at this very moment!
