Hi friends,

We’re so excited to share with you the launch of our new Pilates classes, with our friend, dancer and pilates teacher Sara Adams. Sara is soloist at the New York City Ballet, and has used pilates for years to solidify her strength and improve elements of her movement. Her classes are challenging, and have a strong emphasis on core strength and stability. We love them!

Grace & Form x Lauren Lovette! So excited to introduce a series of beginner ballet classes, and technique practices taught by our friend, collaborator and renowned dancer and choreographer Lauren Lovette. Available to stream now in the Grace & Form online studio, and app!

Lauren is a former principal dancer at the New York City Ballet, resident choreographer of Paul Taylor Dance Company and Director of the Nantucket Dance Festival. But above all her incredible accolades, we are in awe of her passion for furthering dance not only as a performance art, but as one that serves as a medium for enrichment, education and enlightenment for everyone.

Let us know if you try the first class, and how you get on!

The end to a beautiful week of movement in the studio, and I thought this quote perfectly expressed lots of what we talk about when it comes to intention behind each movement practice.
I truly believe the first muscle to strengthen is self-love, and your relationship with yourself. From there we can strive to challenge or change our bodies, without feeling unworthy or less-than for where we are today. Movement should help bring you back to yourself, help you love yourself a little more with everystep. But to do that we have to first think about the mindset we approach movement with: an open curious mind, one that wants to get to know the body, explore how it feels & what it can do.

So wherever you are on your journey of dance, movement, strength & flow.. and wherever you’re looking for these classes to help you go. Know you are enough as you are 💕
See you all in a live class later in the week, and enjoy the new schedule for the upcoming week in your calender tab 🫶
