Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I am currently at my New York City ballet studios starting our rehearsal period for spring season and I have been noticing so many dancers do a planking and abdominal series on there breaks. I wanted to offer a little motivation to take a moment to do this wonderful series of exercises to keep your strength and mindful connection with your body during a moment of pause or stillness in your day. It is so helpful for us as athletes to make sure our bodies are strong and ready to take on the day and I find it is just as important to do this movement to take on whatever day you’re living at this very moment!Β

Hi Alice!Β We have the best pilates teacher coming! So excited for this, coming very soon. With the ballet videos - when can't you see the feet? We do have a second camera angle that often focusses on upper body but we always show feet, do let me know so I can check on this and make sure I'm not missing something. Thank you so much!

So good to hear! We have so many incredible teachers coming: Unity Phelan, Devon Teuscher, chun wai chan, Lauren Lovette and more :) They will all be on the platform within the next 12 weeks.

For full body workouts, have you tried the filter option to see all the classes we have that would work for you? If you go to the filters and search 'mat work' and then the time frame for example 15-30 minutes you can do 1 or 2 of them, we have about 100 of these classes to pair up. And more coming <3Β Β

Hello Grace and Form family! πŸ‘‹πŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’•

One of my ambitions going into our third month running Grace & Form is to make this community forum a hub for questions and daily inspiration. Sassy and I are constantly sending each other daily mantras or thoughts that are helping us stay motivated and strong in body and mind. I’ll be sharing more of these here!

I’d also love to hear from you all what you’re loving so far, and what you’d like to see more of.

I’ve been working hard in the background to curate incredible classes from colleagues and friends who will be bringing more beginner and intermediate ballet classes to the platform - alongside an incredible new pilates series. This will be coming out over the months of April and May.
